The Light of Nature, a poem written by Joseph Nurijand.
The Light of Nature controls the world,
Including the great growing human race.
Day by day, and at night, we live our lives,
Usually at a very fast pace.
But when the power goes out, and lights, off
Nature regains its normal power.
It shines upon the ground, in the window,
Because it’s merely the Light of Nature.
During the night, it may seem dark outside
By yet, there is always a little light.
Look to the sky, behind the darkened clouds,
The moon will just be gleaming, bright and proud.
And during the day, when the sky is real white,
Clouds of snow may seem to fall to the ground,
Not animal seems to be making a sound.
Once again, the Light of Nature sets the stage,
Creating an eerie glow across the land,
It holds the earth in giant hands.
Tossing it around, whenever it pleases
Sunny one day, and depressing the next,
To weathermen, it seems bewildering.
It’s the Light of Nature, it’s amazing.
