Poem about a lion in the jungle.

Image via Wikipedia

The lion in the jungle

Is waiting on its prey.

It stares rather anxiously.

It doesn’t have all day.

The antelope is grazing.

He doesn’t know the danger

Of the carnivore approaching,

A most menancing stranger.

With claws ready to attack

And teeth of deadly steel,

The lion makes his strike.

Ah it’s good to have a meal.

I saw that on National Geographics once. You describe it perfectly.
