A poem about Abuse.
Pathetic words shaped from a flawed design.
Lips that beg, and broken knees that lie lifeless on the floor.
Legs that stumble out onto a forsaken street.
arms that reach for something that has disappeared.
feet running desperately on broken glass.
hands that cant find what they’re looking for
lungs that scream in agony:
“I LOVE YOU!”
but he can’t hear you anymore.
it sickens me to watch you stumble,
falling for a catastrophic cliche.
whispering that he loves you,
telling yourself hes not really that way.
i hate to see you obey the strings,
dancing violently on the stage to your dismay,
i hate to see you fall for his games.
but even more so,
i hate to see you watch him run away.
