A glass of water

There are complicated extravagant works of art
Like Rembrandt or Mozart
In contrast, nature provides miracles that we take for granted
Like the sweet watermelon that grows from a small seed,
when planted
A major part of my life has passed and it is during this second half….
That I’ve met someone who understands
That the best things on Earth
Come from the land
then
When asked to describe love as some form of water…
He simply said…
“A Glass of Water”
the staff of life, without which we would die
a simple thing?  a miracle from above?
Comes in the form of a cowboy from Oklahoma
flown in on the airline of LUV
 He shall never be thirsty again
