An I am poem talking about the wonders of snow.

I am snow
I get stepped on and walked on
I have people drive, sled, ski, and snowboard over me
I seem like the ground, yet I am different
I know the dirt, the branches, and the leaves
I am snow
I come from the skies
I bombard the earth like a projectile sent from the clouds
I strike the ground and at first I lose, melting away
I soon overwhelm it and cover it until it’s no longer visible
I then move to the roads, target number two
I am snow
I bring ice when I come
I cause problems for people
I cancel schools
I make it hard for them to drive
I make it cold
I am snow
I am like clay
I am made into forts
I am combined to make snowmen
I am compacted into snowballs
I can be used to make whatever you want
I am snow
I spread icy cheer
I bring happiness to children and adults alike
I make the hills good for sledding
I make it possible to ski and snowboard
I give the gift of joy to the world
I am snow
I am perfect for both destruction and creativity
I can be pelted at people or things
I am good in a snowball fight
I am easily turned into a work of art
I can become a snow angel, a snowman or another beauty
I am snow
I am white in color
I am wished for by all, especially on Christmas
I turn a realm of dark into a land of white
I overwhelm even the darkest of colors
I lighten everybody’s day
I am snow
I look beautiful
I fall so gracefully to the ground
I coat the branches and leaves of trees
I cover the ugly ground in an ever so delightful manner
I create a winter wonderland
I am snow
I am magnificent
I am inspiring
I have a majestic quality to myself
I am wonderful
I seem magical
I am snow
