"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord." Psalm 150:6.

Lord, the colors you created are so wonderful to behold,

When my nephew grow up they will be told

About the wonders and the beauty of your creation

Bringing the heart and the soul much elation.

Clusters of lilies standing tall against a backdrop of painted walls

Golden hues peeping up from grasses of green,

Slender grasses bowing down to their Creator, one falls,

Walking amidst the splendor makes one serene.

Day lilies sing glory to the Lord,

Emerald lilies like stars in the sky

Their six rays spread out to look like an eye

Seeing God in each one stopping by.

Boxes of impatiens guarding the way

Into the presence of the Lord.

Short but impressive, here to stay

Showing God’s love outpoured.

The rose of Sharon repeating God’s love

Has the favor of God above.

Its pedals spread out like arms,

Each of its onlookers she charms.

Nicely put. God has created many wonders for us to behold, but many of us overlook those things we think of as common.
