This is something that has haunted me all my life.
The man in the window comes to me at night
He stands over me,
Watches my every move
The Man in the Window haunts my dreams night and day
He is in the men on the streets
He is in every man I meet
The Man in the Window follows me everywhere I go
He is in the bushes ready to jump out at me
At any given moment
The Man in the Window is in my room at night
He tells me not to move
Or he will hurt me
He tells me not to scream
Or he’ll stab me
If I tell anyone about him
He will kill me
The Man in the Window touches me everywhere
He tells me it’s alright,
Everyone does it
But it’s our little secret
The Man in the window lives in my home,
Constantly watching me
He told me that I may be able run,
But I can’t hide
He will always find me
The Man in the Window smiles at me with a dark grin
He tells me that he will be with me for the rest of my life,
That I will never be able to get rid of him
The Man in the Window holds me hostage
