Touch my heart with your presence
Touch my soul with thoughts of you

You take me to another level
Whenever you speak words of kindness
Whenever you speak words that are true

You captivate my attention
You motivate me to follow my dreams
You help shape the path in my mind into a vivid direction

You take me in your arms
You gently caress my affections
With the beauty of your endless charms
And, I know I am in heaven

Sometimes you grace my days
With visions of you
And, sublimely my logic turns upside down
Into a euphoric immaculate haze

Faithfully, you come to me at night
When I am softly resting in midnight’s slumber
And I know everything will always be right
And I know I can, at last, safely surrender
