Humorous poem about a man who cannot dance.

Dancing is a hazard

For a man with two left feet.

You might as well be sitting

Instead of dancing in the street.

No Fred Astaire are you.

No Gene Kelly are you at all.

You’ll never make it with the Princess

If you go to the Palace Ball.

You turn when you should be gliding.

You twist when you should move around.

You have all the grace of a little dog

Running on top of a circus clown.

You’d better take some lessons.

It’s your only hope.

Otherwise your dancing career

Will be at Dancing With the Dope.
