As a nursing student I just came up with making a poem using medical terms, especially what you’re experiencing when you’re in love.
Tachycardia is what I get every moment we get close
It is like I get so high, a glimpse equivalent to overdose
You give me insomnia everytime our eyes collide with some chills
Sensation from your skin is seldom yet pleasurable, brings the thrills
Why do my patellas shake? It’s from within it makes me have syncope
My feelings are so unveiled and big no need to use a microscope
I checked your vital signs not statistics and your pulse rate beats like mine
Having paranoia with this extreme vanity only for you is a sign
You’re my sweet glucose the source of my energy and inspiration
Your hotness brings polydipsia best for my constipation
I think I’ll lose my sanity for my love hormone is getting high
I’ll leave my activities of daily living just don’t say goodbye
Diaphoresis occurs to my body from your excessive stare
Falling deeper in love with you can cause acnes definitely scare
Without you my muscle tone is flaccid, I don’t want to move no more
Cephalgia comes I want to say I love you from the depths of my core.
