RESCUER OF MY NATION!

I hear the cries of the innocent from afar

The wailing of the badly hurt from a distance

The cries of those who lost their dear ones

I see corpses in almost every street I run into

Mothers crying over the loose of their children and husbands

Fathers sorrowful over the loose of their wives and children

I see young widows and widowers shattered emotionally

They have lost the best companion they ‘v ever had

To the cold arms of death;

Oh what a tragedy! What an awful sight to behold!

Could this be another war time in our dear country?

Is it a season of agony for both big and small in our dear Nation?

Has the leader suddenly turn deaf ears to the sufferings of the people?

Their sorrows pains and anguish oh! How horrible the sight of it all

Who will deliver us from the hand of the mighty ones?

Who will wipe away our tears and bring smiles to our faces?

Who is the messiah we pray for everyday behind closed doors?

Is he with us already and we know not?

Aha! I suddenly hear the sound of drums

Could it be a drumming of celebration?

OH! The rescuer has finally arrived

For the sound I hear is the sound of joy

A sound of a new hope restored and a new beginning

Hehehehe a sound of joyous people rejoicing

For the long awaited messiah has come

He who will deliver our great country from the hands of the mighty

He who will wage war against the destroyers of our Nation

He who will wipe away the tears of those in mourning

He that shall restore back our dignity, strength, unity and power

A messiah sent from above by the MOST HIGH GOD to stop our anguish

He is the SENT TO HELP NIGERIA SHALL STAND FOR EVER!

REJOICE MY PEOPLE, FOR OUR MESSIAH IS HERE AT LAST!

                                         OCCUPY NIGERIA!
