What real ministry should be.
Behind the pulpit stands a man well
Dressed in suit in tie with great
Stature and ready with sermon. He
Bellows out great words of salvation
And promises salvation to all who
Might come to the front. He talks to
Viewers about being born again,
Preaching such topics to a crowd
that’s never heard anything of the
Sort.
As the piano starts playing to a heart
Moving rhythm the evangelist asks
If anyone wants to accept salvation
And the naïve repeat a prayer they do
Not mean or really understand because
The man at the pulpit advised them to.
After such an experience nothing is
Changed, the man goes back to his
Routine not paying mind to attending
A church or taking part in the activities
That no one really offered to him. The
Following Sunday the church praises
To what they thought was a real salvation
But in reality was just another not so
Permanent guest.
This pattern must change we must go
Back to our routes. Look at what Jesus
Did and what he said, go fourth and
Make disciples he advised so why do
We ignore him? We must make ourselves
Rabbi’s as Jesus was a teacher, be
Prepared to lead the people God has
Brought before us. Let them come to
The Lord on their own, because you cant
Live in God’s love and not seek salvation.
Let us let others inquire us of what is
God’s will, we who are already planted
Within it. We can teach them meaning and
Show them how to live in the word. This is
How The Lord wanted people to be reborn.
To Love the Lord, confess their beliefs for
Him and actually believe in what he did.
Let them seek God’s voice and hear that
There is purpose to their lives, that God may
Use them and they may also make disciples.
Let ministry be as God intended it to be.
