For so many years that much expected call came. Unfortunately, I missed it by seconds. A feeling of disappointment and sorrow, yet the spirit of hope and believe that the much-awaited call will come again in a time soon.
I counted myself so unlucky
So unlucky anytime I remember
Remember how close I got
I got reaching you
Hearing from you once again
It has being a long time
Yeah, really long
Beyond my recollection
Cannot believe I was just a few seconds away
Away from speaking to you
I cannot guess what actually happened
A call I have long expected
“How possibly did I miss that?”
I always keep asking
An expectation for so long a time
When suddenly my expectation could just in a matter of seconds turn into reality
I missed that moment
So painful it is.
Your missed call; so important you call but just by seconds, I missed it
How I wish I would get that chance again
I simply cannot wait
I keep wondering how soon that may be
