The Missing Toy is a longer poem than what I usualy write and one that I wrote in an amused state a long time ago based upon christmas and an amusing little boy.

The Missing Toy

Under the stairs and hidden away, those are the places the little boy liked to play.

Toys, wrapping, gifts and so much fun it was definitely obvious that Christmas had one again begun.

With ripping haste did the little boy snatch and tear searching hear and searching there, but with all of his searching he could not find the special toy that he wanted anywhere.

Its not here the boy began to scream as though a whailing dog had came and moved in, he was very angry and upset he even was horrible to his aunts he had only just met.

Once again old Santa had forgotten core wasn’t Santa thick the little boy did remark as he shovelled in a sweet that he had nicked.

I bet that Santa is just a stupid fake remarked the little boy loudly as he played with a new toy snake.

All the boy had wanted though he had got so very much more was a really large black hole he could place upon the floor.

Though his parents tried desperately to explain it did not exist, the little boy stomped and continued to loudly insist.

If Santa can give me toys and more then how comes he cant give me a working black hole to put on the floor? The little boy declared then insisted even more.

That night whilst he lay in bed he heard a voice that suddenly said, so you want a black hole for the floor really oh why not ask for More

As the boy rolled over he was shocked to see reindeer not one, not two but three, oh and old Santa who had suddenly appeared fumbling his long white beard.

With a scratch of his head the little boy did then say, so you Santa where is the sleigh before being interrupted by the loud chewing of hay.

So what do you want old Santa boy? The same old Santa that keeps forgetting my toy, the words loudly came from the little boy declaring to know about his impossible missing toy.

There is no way I can make a black hole for you to put on the floor, I mean come on there is so much I can do but not More, s he explained the impossibility of the task once again just as the boy’s parents had done so many times before.

The boy insisted and argued causing such a scene, that was until he had an idea formed from a movie he had once seen

I have decided to change my mind, I no longer want a black hole for the floor, instead I want an interstellar time door the boy declared and then began to once again insist and argue about what he had just possibly invented on that day, but was insisting in every single way.

Old Santa began to once again desperately explain, then he decided not to try no, not yet again; instead he simply gave the boy a small red toy plane.

When old Sants and the reindeer had gone the blame soon came, it wasn’t long, as the boy threw the plane and began to scream and shout insisting yet again.

‘When I’M older you will see I will have my own interstellar doorway all for ME the little boy declared in such a funny way that his mother and his father giggled at the remark the next day as they once again found they had a new thing to explain.

….Makes for interesting reading. Must be a scientist in the making this little boy? Take care.
