Two eyes

glistening in the dark

candle flames burn in promise
of wishes unspoken

stars twinkle in earnest in the night sky

as a heart beats in the shadows

waiting patiently

hands held, silent orchestra music playing from no where
poetry heard in the nothingness,
of everything
