He pulled me into his embrace,
& Whispered my full name,
Not expecting what came next,
Something so hard to explain,

He dropped down onto his knee,
&  looked up into my eyes,
Took a ring from behind his back,
Took my hand from my side,

Sincerity spoke to me for him,
& tears formed in my eyes,
“Will you marry me” Came from his lips,
& an excited “Yes” from mine <3
