The moon is such a wonderful sight to see. It’s so restful to the soul and helps set the spirit free.

The Moon and Me

Image via Wikipedia

The moon settling over the roof tops

As I lie here in my bed,

Calms all the stress within me

And the thoughts which run through my head.

It forms the perfect picture

Outlined by the window frame,

With the silhouetted tree branches

Dancing before its flame.

Tiny clouds glide by lazily

In a night so quiet and still,

Shrouded in life’s little mysteries

The night’s desires to fulfil.

As I drift calmly into sleep

It’s such a wonderful sight to see.

It’s so restful to the soul

And helps set the spirit free.
