A little help in which direction I should go, creatively.
I started out on Triond mostly writing short stories and selective niche articles. Poetry was never something I considered until I found people responded to it better. For one thing they are short and quicker to read. The first few stories that I wrote tend to be a couple pages long and wouldn’t get read, so I would write short sketches instead. Still my attempts at poetry would fare a lot better. I enjoy writing both and try to learn different styles and techniques. Try is the key word here.
There are two pieces I have written that have received the most reader response. I’m not sure why and is it deserved? It would be greatly appreciated if my fellow writers could take a look and see which type of creative writing I should stick to. One is poetry and one is prose. Don’t worry, they are short.
To keep it simple, just click on the links and after reading each of them, click the “I Like It” button on the one piece you prefer. I have a certain preference, but I’ll keep that to myself. I want to see which of the two you like more or is considered better. It will help me decide, creatively, which direction I should go. I want to be able to grow as a writer. Thank you for your time.
