Climbing up.
The road was rocky
And steep
Vision was weak
Regardless, we climbed
Up the mountain-side,
Barely stopping to eat
At first there were five
Together
Walking this road forever
But now three remained
Everything to gain,
Trapped under freezing weather
We would see this mountain top
Reaping the rewards
Finding what we climbed up for
But as we ascended
One of us was blasted
Left as simply blood and gore
So then there were two
Almost there
We trunched on through with bones so bare
Until scared and hungry we died
In blooded coats of animal hide
Victims of some cruel scare
