What you need to know when you are a student in geography are the neighbouring countries. It is even part of the civic education. You might be sharing the same language with your neighbouring country for example Spanish in the States and in Mexico and there are ethnic problems between neighbouring countries for example between Rwanda and Burundi based on cattle ownership.
