The fans pay to see their players and teams. The players get pay to play for us and their team. The owners use our money to pay players to provide the fans the best team possible. It’s a cycle. We all need each other. A lockout really involves the fans, players, and owners. And no one wants to feel hurt. So let the game begin.

Players play with their heart out on the court.

Fans scream and cheer for them,

And booed them as loud as they can.

Some teams win other team loses.

Some win in dramatic fashion,

Other lose by blowout.

All teams compete for the ultimate prize.

The NBA championship trophy.

Eight in each conference qualify,

The rest go home packing.

Then there’s two team left to play,

One from each conference,

And only one comes out victorious,

From that same team history is made,

Legends have emerged,

And future Hall of Famers have been seen.
