Children’s poems are so much fun to write and read. No matter what time of the year, every poem is special. This wintertime poem is fun to read at Christmas or at any season.

Rudolph takes big leaps into the snow

And then another and another as he goes

To show his friends how to do his prance

As he calls it, his new Rudolph dance,

And as Rudolph begins to leap to and fro

His fun continues to grow, grow, grow!

Taking big leaps fast and in silly ways

As all Rudolph’s friends look with a gaze,

When they begin to copy Rudolph’s leap

Rudolph turns to take a very quick peak,

A happy smile begins to show upon his face

‘Cause his friends could not keep up with Rudolph’s pace.
