I can remember it all so clear, that special night that you were here…
We held each other, oh so tight,
And at that moment it felt so right.
We melted in each other’s arms,
Because we knew there was no harm.
I never thought that this could be,
And you didn’t know that you had HIV.
So here I am, 19 and still a kid,
And in a few months I may be dead.
Was it worth all of this strife,
To have sex and lose my life?
Maybe that’s why God called in sin,
And I’d give anything to have my life back again.
So the next time you think it feels so right,
Remember it only takes one night!
