A poem about the night.

The night is safe, the night is still

The night grows colder, at its own will

The night is dark, on most occasions

It reaches out across the nations

The night can be free, or capture its prey

But when the sun comes, it’s frightened away

The night can be crafty, a devilish creature

The night has been known to be a great teacher

To teach us all of the romance at night

But to some it is only a terrible blight

The night has no limits, it limits itself

For when the day comes, it hides somewhere else
