The One Man Soldier
Shots rang out , And hearts went cold
And a warriors life, will never grow old
He was young, and he stood tall
and all alone, He faced them all
He met his death, and , he died with pride
Now he’s crossed over, to the other side
No one gave thought, nor took the time
To think of those , that he’d leave behind
All of us, left to console her
Now must find the words to tell her
He’s gone baby girl, would be hard to tell her
She’s lost her love, We’ve lost our soldier.
