We were two head-strong people.
I took my time with her,
I got to know her,
I knew how she was,
And I loved her for it.
I couldn’t get her to turn,
But she turned at every corner,
I tried to stop her at-times,
But there’re no stop signs on the path to love.
She wanted her way,
She let go,
And I disappeared.
