Please, just do this one thing for me, if you will.

I don’t ask for very much,
I try to hold my tongue,
Give you space and calm.
I know you care,
I can tell without words.
How you stare at me, adoringly,
When you don’t think I see.
I can tell by the way,
Your hand rests on my shoulder,
When you want me to listen,
Your body language speaks,
I so adore you, just as much.
One thing, I want you to know,
Sincerely, and very seriously,
Is that what I really, honestly
Want from you, now and,
Just as long as forever,
Is this, please, just breathe.

Beautiful. The words and sentiment were lovely but the pacing was my favorite part…made these seem as thoughts rather than spoken words

…Hi TP, thank you for such a nice
comment, I am so happy that you like
the work, it’s somewhat like tasting
your own cooking, it takes someone
else to let you know if it is tasty.
    Good wishes to you always.
