I ran, I run or had run–
–I jump, I jumped or had jumped
—but only fell.
The fall was hard or is hard,
–scraped, bruised and broken–
A flash flood just slammed the soul—
Although, broken is not the word—
With a little water and a Band-Aid
All heals and fads.
