Masks we wear, hidden desires.
You know you really want to
But you often try to hide,
You put a false face on
To disguise what’s deep in side.
To others you sound sweet
And looking pure to the bone,
But they don’t know what you do
When you’re at home alone.
All one has to do
Is to see the things you read,
If one happened on your diary
The shock would be disbelief.
And Computer sites you click on
When you mistake no one is home,
You quickly click to rid the screen
For fear what might be shown.
For you are no little angel
Inside you yearn for more,
You hate the impression others have
Of you… it’s such a bore!
You wish to just break loose.
To dive into a new dimension
where you can embrace,
Your darkest inhibitions.
Now its fear that holds you back
Thinking what would others say?
But you’re sick and tired of all
Thinking your morals wouldn’t sway.
Because they really do not know you
they only see what you put out,
Its driving you insane
to the point you want to shout!
Yes you know you really want to
Seek the things forbidden all,
Your inner cravings begging
Yearning more and more.
You don’t know how you’ll last
Living this angelic lie,
Because all you want to do
Is let your inner Demons fly.
