A visit in the night.
In the dark winters night
So cold and so brisk
The black sky looming
With sounds of fear
He opened the door
the passage to the world
A sharp wind burst
and bit upon his cheek
Looking to the house
The dead of suburbia
A light lit sky brightens the dark
And brings horror into his mind
And ever so softly
Wings flapped in symmetry
A small figure appears along the midnight sky
Spying as he flies
The creature landed upon the chimney
He glanced to the ominous aura
The sounds of the past hit his ears
Owls hooting in the distance
The owl did not move
It stared intently to his soul
He felt fear arise in his body
A feeling of despair and shock
But reality finally settles
The Owl never existed
The trails of the mind
affected his vision
