This poem is about a girl that was so happy when she as young and suddenly her life became a nightmare because of bad influences that lead her to drugs. She struggled, suffered but with faith and lots of love from her parents she was saved.

So innocent, so pure

So alert, so expressive

Laughter and happiness

Covered her entire little face

Her round green eyes

With passion,expressed every emotion

Full of life, never run out of energy

Even on rainy gloomy days

She found a way to bring  life

and laughter into people’s souls

A real actrice, a real comedian

A perfect child to raise and enjoy

Every precious moments, left pleasant memories

The endless fields were her passion

For hours, she observed the birds fly far way

Daydreaming, then singing the sweetest melodies

The sweetest lullabies

Years went by

Little girl went to school

Met some friends

Suddenly!

The nightmare begun

Her smile erased

And unhappiness took place

The darkest clouds replaced the sun

Her soul was lost out in the darkest  paths

No hope, her life was transformed for the worst

Her angelic face became evil

She swam in the deepest, dirtiest waters

Where she tried to gasp some air

But the surface seemed far away

The the poison was spread

Like  boiling lava covering an entire city

Like fish swimming in  contaminated rivers

Like a terminal patient

Trying to buy a few seconds of his life

Now left in God’s hands

He will decide

He will hand her the cure

Emprisoned in four walls

Batteling for survival

Mumbling the words

Help me! day and night

Howling like a wolf

Then silence

No sounds, barely any noise

Laying down in a corner

Bruised from head to toe

Looking for forgiveness

And a fade tired smile

Trying to thank God

But can’t speak up

And there she was

Saved, liberated
