The path to enlightenment,
Begins with a single step,
In the right direction,
Away from the people,
who treat you like crap,
Who keep you down,
Who use and abuse you,
The path to true enlightenment,
Begins when you examine your soul,
Weeding out the bad,
And harnessing the good,
This can only be done,
If you have achieved enlightenment,
It is hard to do,
Especially if you are lying,
But not only lying to others,
But rather lying to yourself,
The path to true enlightenment,
Starts when you,
Are able to let go,
To move on,
And not try to get something,
That is never going to come back,
Or hold onto something that is dead,
The path to true enlightenment,
Starts with one realization,
That life can be better,
If you got rid of the things,
That make you sad or upset,
And found or looked for,
Things that make you smile endlessly,
And don’t ask for anything in return,

…

And thus you will achieve nirvana.
