A Poem about finding your real self.

Is there an unrest that I can see?
Two sides of ego want to be.
The trick it plays false witness me.
Critically judging, I can’t be thee.

The peaceful one lies within
Quietly watching the egos sin.
Can witness judge these ways of men,
Or even learn from the lessons of them?

The witness unfolds from a sacred place.
Where mind thoughts do not race.
But come and go in calm space
without judgment, not even a trace.

I must look past the egos play,
for clouding thoughts to clear away.
Accepting all, come what may.
Then love and light fills the day.
