I knew that no one would take it from me.
I made the perfect sandwich
It was as perfect as can be
I set it on the table because
I knew that no one would take it from me
It had liver and onions,
Lettuce, tomatoes,
Mustard and Mayonnaise,
It even had potatoes
It had spinach and beans,
Barbecue sauce, squash,
And it smelled like,
Like some gross from the wash
Now that I think about it my sandwich doesn’t sound
Good at all
So I gave the sandwich
To my dog Paul
The very next day I felt very sad,
My feeling came out in a cry
Because of that sandwich
Poor Paul died
And I never made that perfect (not) sandwich again!
