It’s the small things in life that can bring you the best memories. Likewise, there’s always that one strange thing that brings back horrid memories from your past.

I saw a pigeon in the sky,
she was flying so high.
One of her feathers flew on by,
i chase it as if it wants me to follow.
As it cam to a dead end,
i catch it in my hands.
A flash back of my life comes when it lands.
Nothing but pain and strife.
Most of the worst time of my life.
As i come back from this flash,
a tear drops from my eye,
just a single tear.
to express all the fear.
i gaze onto the feather,
and walk through the horrid weather.
To think about why it chose me?
I keep it to my beside,
all the time.
Because you never know,
when its wants to take you for a ride.

    Hi, Liffy, how are you?
This is quite an emotional free verse, and I like the fact that you chose to illustrate a bad flashback through a common occurence.
    By the way,…
You started out your poem in past tense (saw, was, flew) but then you changed over to present tense with ‘chase’, then keep jumping between the two. Just remember to keep your entire piece in one tense, whether it’s past, present, or future. Also, don’t forget that I, the pronoun referring to the person speaking, is always capitalized.
Also, “I keep it to my beside all the time” will need to be rearranged to be easier to understand. I can’t tell if you mean ‘at your bedside’, or ‘beside you’.
Other than that, great work, and thanks for sharing.
