The writing life can be a lonely one, especially if you’re a struggling writer and philosopher, but the desire to speak, share insight, and tell a tale or two is overwhelming enough to continue when others have less faith.

Moving forward so you don’t die

And if you see the world that you want

And if see you the miles ahead of you

Move forward and reach the sky

Move forward and tell them why

Time will not stop this ride

Time will push onward to the end of the tide

And if they say that you can’t do it

And if they make a play to ruin it

Move up and around them and make a stand

Move thy hand and let it all come in so naturally as is your desired plan

Well expressed. Once we gain full authority to lead our lives, we are simply writing things down like the scenes in a play.

I like your description. It’s overwhelming enough to continue when others have less faith. Clicked I like it.

A great but unsung writer committed suicide. This poem is a great motivator.
