Politicians spend millions of dollars

campaigning

seeking votes to be elected

they tell the voters whatever

they think the voters want to hear

after they are elected

they do what they want to do

they make deals with the rich

to give them what they want

the lower working class and the poor

struggle to survive

the middle class holds up the pyramid

of society together

while the rich and politicians

live like royalty

the rich are only about wealth

using the working class

and the poor

to gain riches any way they can

they tax the working class to death

and spend the money at will

while giving themselves huge

tax breaks and pay raises

they build prisons to warehouse

the poor for profit

and the middle class pays for it

without question or fight

politicians are leaders for the rich

slave masters to the lower

working classes, the homeless

and the poor

politicians are only about

themselves and what

they can rob the rest of us of

by way of greed and association

with the super rich

The lust and love of money is

indeed the root of all evil
