Words are not something we can take back once we realize that they’re hurt someone. We need to choose our words carefully and use them to heal and help people.
We cannot erase
What has been said
Though sorrows chase
Through words we dread
We ought to think
Before we speak
Because words do link
To others feeling week
Words can burn
And words can heal
When others yearn
For a heart to seal
Itself away
By what was said
Watch what you say
Don’t use words dead
