A poem written for a woman about o marry from a man who loves her.

The Proposal

You defeat me,

you complete me,

your everything I need,

If I lived without you ,

my heart would break and bleed.

Your my sun,

and my moonlight,

and everything in between,

when I have to stand alone,

your the only one that’s seen.

You are my rock,

my shelter from the storm,

the one who finally made

this old cold heart whole and warm.

It has been a beautiful suprise,

to look in your eyes,

and see no lie,

I hope we are together until the day we die.

I want you to have my children,

together for life,

to have you right there by my side,

as we grow hold as husband and wife.

Now here I am,

down on one knee,

only question on my mind,

is if you will marry me?

Classic. She will definitely say yes.

The lady you wrote this for is quite lucky.
