A poem of deep introspective thought for believers and non-believers alike.
I woke up this morning feeling sort of numb, “This is thse day the Lord hath made” Yeah, that might work for some.
So I begin to think on all the things the Lord has done for me;
Died on the cross- check
set my soul free- check
Then I think about all the wrong I’ve done;
Adopted by a Father, at expense of His only Son
At once I was convicted!;
Before , I was condemned!
Oh the blood !from Calvary’s cross
That washed away my sin.
Now I am convinced
That sinners do convert
Beneath the pain and all the shame ;
I knew my heart was hurt;
So now I am a pro
Before I was a con
Today, I stand constrained of Love
To tell you what He’s done!
I will not be content;
To tell the world repent!
You don’t have be so
“Apropo”
To know that I was sent
To warn the one who hears by faith
This to you I propose;
Why sit you here and die today?
For Jesus Christ He rose
To settle accounts of great amounts
Which we have left undone
For if you’re a pro,then you too know;
At heart ,your still a con.
