A poem about a girl, leading a boy on.

I guess I’m just another boy that you lead on,

I tried, and I tried, but your still gone.

I guess im the kind of bou you’d never date,

Another love of mine, torn from me by fate.

I’ll more than gladly let you go,

If you’ll only cease to show,

Every last emotion to me.

You can’t say you truly love me,

And say that is cannot be,

But now that I think about it,

I’m tired of this race, the competing and shit.

My stomache rises, my heart it sinks,

I hate these games, you play with me.

You always said you cared,

Yet I was still left incomplete.

In this race you lead these days,

with all my best of friends,

I’d rather hang straight from a noose,

Then see the bloody end.

Here comes the point, where I ask myself,

“Is this much worse than hell?”

But I already know the honest answer,

Into your trap I fell.

I don’t want to see the day,

That another takes first place,

I cannot take this anymore!

I give up with this chase.

You lure me in, and reject me right back down,

I’m tired of running, around and around.

“I love you, I promise!” she cries,

You changed your mind, I’m not your love.
