Poem.

Slowly softly raindrops fall

Upon this spring day

At first a sprinkle

A mist

‘Spitting’

Then the shower

Then the downpour

The downpour is the

Best of all

For it blurs and mars

The world outside

The modern evils

The 21st century disaster

And takes us back

To a time forgotten

When the power is lost

And we are all cut off

We made our own entertainment

Like the olden days

Nostalgia for some

New experiences for others

I wish everyday it stormed

I love. You are very good at getting descriptions across, and I love the rain. This poem makes me feel at peace thinking of the rain.

    Great work!
