Totally random poem this is.
Once upon a time,
There was a Grape vine,
Beneath, was a mysterious mine,
Which contained many a dime.
Many a miner came and went,
They all lived in a very big tent,
alas! It had not one air vent!
That was the problem with the very big tent
The grape vine had a number of grapes,
getting riper by the day,
So sweet, they turned the men to apes,
who threw their food and munched on hay
But enough of apes and grapes and men!
Lets think about my new pen!
How smoothly the ink flows, amen!
But alas, it got eaten by a hen.
The hen laid an egg,
the nest had a hole,
the egg fell below
on a miner called Anmol.
Anmol screamed and thrashed and raged
it had hurt him, because he was aged,
the poor old man fell through the ground
into the mine, oh what had he found?
He pinched himself and rubbed his eyes,
Was this a joke or a surprise?
before him was a bright white light,
he knew what was wrong, he knew what was right.
The eight planets, the million stars,
all aligned like funky cars,
he spoke to venusians, he learnt about Mars,
and we’re not talking of chocolate bars.
Trees flew and flies grew,
the world was three degrees askew,
of this and more the old man knew,
how he knew? We haven’t a clue!
The flood of knowledge killed the gray,
his rationality was washed away,
Nothing but his foal remained
Anmol was a wreck, de-brained.
It had taken a toll,
he had broken his bowl,
he returned to his foal,
the Old man Anmol.
