This is my little attempt at the challenge to write something about a feather and a green velvet glove. I’m not sure exactly what the challenge was because I missed the article pertaining to it, and I think I should have left well enough alone since I don’t know what I am doing.

I saw a red bird winging by

Against the azure summer sky

A blood red feather drifted down

Softly rested on the ground

Sweetly it swayed about my feet

Misty red and crisply neat

Oh, Look a carriage comes this way

A pretty lady pale and fey

Raises her hand as if to wave

In her green velvet glove

I think you’ve started a concept for a story with a red feather and glove that can be a metaphor that runs throughout the story… like the feather in “Forrest Gump” – - that’s how great ideas get started by one interesting thought!

    Blessings.

    Sincerely,

    -Liane Schmidt.

Yours is very different from the otheers I\’ve read! Lovely idea, and it seems just the beginning of a story. And the red robin ad that they put on this page-hysterical.
