Roses are famous on Valentine day to celebrate friendship. There are famous stories about roses from The Northern part of France called Picardie which probably used to be part of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. Of course Roses are famous in Spain because of the colour red equivalent to Carmen, Vermillon or Flamme the colour of blood by excellence and a first name Rose.
