A poem about self image.

Who is the girl
That I see in my reflection?
Messed up hair,
and crying eyes.

She used to be different,
but this place has got the best of her.
Once she sparkled,
Had ambition and dreams.
Now she cannot even find inspiration,
When once she could find it in anything.

When she was younger,
She was wild and carefree.
Today she wishes that
could be something she could still be.

She is doing her best to become
The person she once was.
Finding all the power inside
To like the reflection staring back.

This is such a sad piece. I hope one day you will return to that sparkling person again.

A beautiful look at a sad girl.

    Hope it is fiction. Smile.

We sometimes become better by looking at the reflection knowing we are moving forward. WEll composed to explain fully the feelings.

Great piece. Right now I feel just like that. Seeing myself for who I am, who I was, and who I want to be. Hard work and patience is what it takes.
