She sets her face as a flint
With new strength and courage
Towards her set goals
Never to look back at the pains of yesteryears
The twin sisters of sweat and tears
Now too heavy a burden to carry
They just might drain the life out of her
Now it is a new dawn
And she is poised for life anew
Laced with laughter and memories sweet
And you can take a guess why
A woman of strength, destiny, and purpose
She took the world by storm
Now she can ride powerfully in the storms
Once her dreams she handed to others in a haze
Now she steps into her destiny with giant strides
Once she walked in the shadows of her purpose
Now she wittily navigates her way into center stage
She welcomes every change with an eagle’s foresight
She is a Renaissance woman!
Who knows with all certainty
That Change is as beautiful as she is
For without change, there would be no butterflies.
