There are rituals, traditions and protocols to respect. In Kirundi for example the traditional wedding complements the official and the religious wedding. The couple stays three nights together without going outside and on the third night they receive guests who bring them food, drinks and all they need in the household for a month and they do the same when the child is born to stay in the house and come out with the child to introduce him to the respective parents.
It is important to have a house
it is even more important to have a home
for that is where you live in a house
because if you stay outside your skin is home
to someone else than yourself and the house
you had goes away with it until you find a home
where you can live peacefully and then the house
is where your soul lives and your spirit for a home
tells all about you and that is where you find the house
with the piano sitting in the middle of your home
