My thoughts on the use of guns.

Our constitution says we have the right to bear arms,
but does that mean we have the right to harm?
Does our laws give us the right, who does have guns,
to shoot anyone that seem a threat, not just thugs.
We have the right to protect ourselves day and night,
but why can’t we first walk away from a fight?
Those who bear arms, can they determine what is wrong or right?
Who can we really trust by one’s perception of first sight?
Those who bear arms will have to take great responsiblity,
to not harm the innocent people of our humanity.
Use this right as a last resort and first try to flee
from conflict or deal with thier actions for enterity.
For me, I can not hold a gun for of the fear of a mistake,
that I possibly accidently might will make.
I could never live with myself with the life I might take.
For those who bear arms, I hope they use thier heads, for namesake,
and not pull out a gun for just anger or revenge of heartache.

Bare Arms? Like nothing on them?

I think you meant “bear” like as in “you have the right to carry or use.” Not you have the right not to put clothes on your arms.

Thank you again, Lewis. I just noticed your comment today and I submitted the fix to this poem. Are you a writer here? Who are you?
