I love waking up to a rooster’s crow in the mornings.

I wake up early every morning

to my rooster’s crowing at dawn.

He announces a new day’s arrival

from outside on my front lawn.

do you really have a rooster? My Papa had a rooster and it crowed every morning, till it went blind. My boys don’t know about being woke by a rooster.
